Students and Researchers
REP provides students and researchers with access to almost 3,000 peer-reviewed and curated articles in philosophy. It is the perfect starting point for students and researchers at all levels, in philosophy and related disciplines.
To complement the articles in REP, we are delighted to launch in 2021 our first wave of specially commissioned teaching and learning resources, written by experts in the field, and designed for students coming to some of the great texts of philosophy for the first time. Each learning resource includes a commentary, learning objectives and questions for self-review and include Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics, Plato's Republic, Wollstonecraft's A Vindication of the Rights of Woman and Kierkegaard's Fear and Trembling. All resources are free to view and can be access here.
Other features include:
-Shortlists: articles can be saved into labelled shortlists for easy reference and shared with colleagues or students.
-Enhanced search functionality: the search has been imporved to enable users to filter their search results based on a greater number of facets, to take them more quickly to their desired result. Users may search by topic, period, region and religion, as well as by a free-text search.
-Subject overviews: Over 30 overview intoductory articles map directly to the commonly taught subjects to aid teaching and learning. Filter by article type to view these articles.
