The aesthetics of sport is a branch of the philosophy of sport that finds its subject matter in the specifically aesthetic dimensions of sport. As the field of aesthetics is often taken to include the philosophy of art, relations between sport and art, and the question of whether some or all sports are arts, also fall squarely within the domain of the aesthetics of sport.
